About Us

Hi, my name is Riaan Nell. At my core I am a techno-file and I am passionate about my craft.

A little more about me.(Like any one cares)

What started out as a hobby in the late nineties turned into a business in 2001. With passionate and humble beginnings NJR Computers took flight…

I have worked for and with various companies large and small in the information technology field from Access Points to Zero Day Exploits. I serve my customers with onsite support and honest advice.

I now have 16 years experience in the IT industry and have branched out to include Computer Support, Software and Hardware sales, Networks, Surveillance, Servers bla, bla, bla, bla.

A long story short :

“if it has anything to do with technology or if it looks like a computer or even stands close to one then I am your guy!”

Computers & Software

Some of my favorite computer quotes:

“There are 10 types of people in the world: those who understand binary, and those who don’t.”

“Hardware: The parts of a computer system that can be kicked.”

“Any fool can use a computer. and many do!.”

It does not matter whether you are an absolute novice or a well seasoned,  slow roasted computer user sooner or later you are going to need help.  Yes I am sure you can fix it, but when?

I supply and maintain computers and software programs. It’s my thing! Take the worry and hassle out of your day.

Networks

I have extensive experience in installing and administrating both wired and wireless networks including Virtual Private Networks.

“Passwords are like underwear: you don’t let people see it, you should change it very often, and you shouldn’t share it with strangers.”

– Chris Pirillo

Surveillance Systems

It is an unfortunate fact of life in today’s times, surveillance systems are fast becoming and essential part of security whether it be at a business premises or or a private dwelling.

I have designed and installed systems in all shapes and sizes. From basic analog systems to cutting edge IP solutions.

“Yes, you are under surveillance. Yes, it is odious. Yes, it should bother you. And yes, it’s hard to know how to avoid it.”

-Nick Harkaway
